Waimea-Kohala Airport is a state owned, public use airport located one nautical mile (2 km) southwest of Kamuela (also known as Waimea), an unincorporated town in Hawai‘i County, Hawai‘i, United States.Hawaiian Airlines began scheduled passenger service from the airport in November 1953.
