Farmington is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Wharton Township, Fayette County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is located along U.S. Route 40, the National Road, about southeast of Pittsburgh, and is the closest settlement to Fort Necessity. It is also home to the 5-star Nemacolin Woodlands Resort and the New Meadow Run Bruderhof, a Christian community with over 250 members.
