The Augusta Regional Airport plays a significant role, both in the history of American aviation and in the economic development of the CSRA. Augusta Regional Airport at Bush Field (AGS) is located on Highway 56 Spur (Doug Barnard Parkway), 4 miles south of I-520 East (Bobby Jones Expressway). AGS is served by two airlines.
